What is the trending, most used and in demand programming language? This is the question running in the mind of every software developer willing to compete in IT/software world. Software development is still a high demand career path today. According to towardsdatascience.com, there are about 700 programming languages to code in the world of programming which is why coding has become an in demand skill in software industry.

Not all programming languages offer you the same job in every software company. Some can be useful for certain specific roles in a particular organization. However, it is always advised to learn multiple languages in order to cope up with industrial standards and role based jobs such as full stack developer role which is an demand job in all software/IT industries.

1. Javascript:

JavaScript is the most popular programming language since it is high-level and versatile. It has a future scope of replacing any other programming language. It's easily interpretable syntax and good interface makes developer to quickly adopt it to develop applications. However, this language has to compromise client-side security and the developer finds it difficult to debug.

2. HTML/CSS:

HTML and CSS forms the structural system of a UI page of any application. For a full stack developer these are also taken into consideration as one of the most desirable skill set. The user friendly and highly interpretable tags of the languages makes the developer to adopt it quickly.

3. SQL:

Can you still believe that SQL is one of the most used programming languages and not going to be extinct? The reason behind this is all companies are dependent on this programming language to store their data in multiple databases.

4. Python:

Python is another high-level language which is object-oriented, elegant to users with more simple, easily readable syntax.
